I grew up not being able to express my grievances. If I did, that was “talking back”, “being disrespectful”. Thus, I’d get in trouble. So that’s why as an adult, I still don’t do that. I isolate myself mentally and physically, until I get over it.

I’m about to be 22 years old and I’m still learning how to actually express myself. Moral of the story is, your voice deserves to be heard. So, no matter the outcome, make sure it’s heard.
